We do not pay third parties for any other services on your behalf. If monies are deposited into our account incorrectly we do not refund until cleared with our bank.

Rates are quoted in South African Rand and are inclusive of VAT and Breakfast. Rates are subject to confirmation and availability and may change without prior notice. Reservations are subjected to terms and conditions on check-in.

Child Policy

Child rates: Special rates apply to children under 12 when sharing the room with parents : Children under two are free.

Check -in/Out Times

  • Check -in from 14h00 – 20h00
  • Check-out 10h00 – late check outs are only possible if rooms are empty the following day. 

You are welcome to have a cup of tea and relax in our breakfast room or we can hold your luggage until you are ready to depart.

Late arrivals: Late arrivals after 1 pm on weekends and 7pm on weekdays must advise us of your expected time of arrival so we can have staff on duty to check you in.

Early arrivals: You are welcome to leave your luggage at the guest house while you go out and explore or you are welcome to have a cup of tea and relax in our breakfast room until your room is ready.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept MasterCard, Visa, credit cards and cash. We may not accept any foreign currency or traveller’s cheques.

Deposit to confirm Bookings

  • Deposit = 50% deposit of the total value of your booking.
  • Deposit = 100% if only staying for 1 night.
  • Deposit = 100% if booking is made less than 2 days prior to arrival.


Cancellation Policy

Like all Hotels and Guest Houses we have a strict Cancellation policy to protect us against cancellations.

We have a live calendar with Nightsbridge which connects too many websites around the world giving instant online availability. Once a room is booked it is no longer available to sell on these websites. 

If cancelled for whatever reason you will be liable for full payment whether we have a deposit from you or not. Verbal and email bookings are binding as a confirmation of the booking.

Companies/Travel agencies operating on a Bill back basis will also be liable to pay cancellation fees if cancelled whether we have a voucher or not.

Please make sure you or clients are aware of our policy before accepting our accommodation at our establishment.

  • Cancellations more than 30 days prior to visit – full deposit can be refunded minus R75.00 admin fee.
  • Cancellations between 30 and 15 days prior to the visit forfeit 25% of the total deposit minus R50 admin fee.
  • Cancellations between 14 and 1 days prior to the visit forfeit 100% of the total deposit.
  • For non-arrival/no show/premature departure 100% of total booking quoted is payable.
